Centennial senior Sofia Huerta has been named 2010-11 Gatorade Idaho Girls Soccer Player of the Year for the second year in a row, the company announced Thursday.

A couple interesting stories worth listening to or reading

I don't often do this, but I heard a story about concussions on National Public Radio on Wednesday as I was driving around Boise getting photos at National Signing Day events, and I felt high school athletes, their parents and coaches should be aware of it.

BK's McCarthy chooses to play football for FCS national champ Eastern Washington

Bishop Kelly senior Cody McCarthy has verbally committed to play football for the reigning FCS national champion Eastern Washington Eagles.
