The junior quarterback was nearly perfect as well, completing 18-of-20 passes for 362 yards and four touchdowns. Montes, a senior, remained perfect on PATs and also added a 55-yard field goal in the win. Montes' 55-yard field goal would be an overall state record had it been kicked during the state playoffs. Dhaenens, a starting tight end and linebacker, will have surgery soon and be out for nine months, Fruitland coach Bruce Schlaich said. The injury occurred last Saturday when Dhaenens caught a pass against Casa Roble (Calif.) and then made a cut to avoid a defender. Kenyon scored the game-winning touchdown from 15 yards out with 34 seconds remaining in the game. His Grizzlies then received a little more help late in the fourth quarter to seal a 29-22 victory Saturday against Casa Roble in El Dorado Hill, Calif. Casa Roble was called for two straight unsportsmanlike conduct calls with less than two minutes to play in the fourth quarter, giving the Grizzlies command of the ball and a hard fought victory.
