BOYS BASKETBALL

Ben Tucakovic, Borah: The first-place Lions earned a pair of key victories last week to improve to 15-1 overall and 13-1 in the 5A Southern Idaho Conference. Tucakovic contributed 28 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in a 56-41 victory over Eagle on Jan. 27. The 6-foot-6 forward then added 10 points, nine rebounds and four assists to help the Lions defeat Centennial 51-43 on Jan. 28.

It is the final game of the 4A Southern Idaho Conference regular season for both teams.

The winner will be the No. 2 seed in next week's 4A District Three Tournament, while the runner-up will be No. 3.
