On July 1, 2001, a nationwide law in Portugal took effect that decriminalized all drugs, including cocaine and heroin. Under the new legal framework, all drugs were "decriminalized," not "legalized." Thus, drug possession for personal use and drug usage itself are still legally prohibited, but violations of those prohibitions are deemed to be exclusively administrative violations and are removed completely from the criminal realm. Drug trafficking continues to be prosecuted as a criminal offense.

...every holliday. Which is great, we are diverse and love to party. But we need to remember why we have these hollidays. I was just looking at the pictures from this year's veteren's day parade and what I saw was astonishing. In the parade we had cheerleaders and marching bands. WW2 trucks with actors riding in them. Bikers and cops were in the parade. Who was guarding the intersections? Our current US Soldiers were. Who is this parade for? Not saying all those people in the parade were not veterens, but I know the people guarding the streets were. Just a thought

The good news however, is that we are evidently not as corrupt as North Dakota.

In response to the recent scandal involving Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, and a nearly institutionalized inclination to condemn Chicago and Illinois as hubs of public corruption, USA Today today published data showing that - per capita - they come in a mere 18th place for corruption.

Let us recap...

Idaho is one of the worst States in terms of Childhood Immunizations, Child and Spousal Abuse, Integrity in Government, DUI Convictions, Teenage Suicide, and the list goes on.

Idaho Near Top In Lack Of Gov’t Integrity

"Idaho made it on another National List recently, placing near the top of the “Lack of Integrity In Government” survey. Probably won’t see any press releases from Team Dave, the Commishes, or Guv. Butch’s spinmeisters on that one.

Once again PETA is trying to shove their beliefs down
other peoples throats.They propose that if you eat meat you should pay higher insurance premiums.WHO THE HELL DO THEY
THINK THEY ARE? I want these people out of my refridgerator,
out of my home,out of my community and off my planet.How
can a bunch of urban idiots that recent polls show only
garner a small amount of this nations support always
get so much publicity? Maybe money? Moron celebrities?
These people are terrorist plain and simple with the vast
majority of them sorely in need of a prison cell.Come on
