The memorial for kevin Pavlis on Hill Road keeps growing each day. When I first photographed it last Friday afternoon there were two sets of flowers. Today the site has dozens of flowers, written notes, water bottles, and a frame.

This weekends rainfall has accumulated in large pools such as this spot at the Collister Shopping center off W. State Street. I'm unsure of how deep it was, but it didn't deter this driver.

I've shot many images of flags, but not as they burned. Sunday I went out to Caldwell to photograph a flag retirement ceremony at the American Legion Hall Post 35. According to Post Commander Gary White they retired about 500 flags on Sunday.

Hundreds of people turned out for the annual Wet and Wild Parade Saturday at the Eagle Fun Days. Inspite of the dark clouds overhead, people waited patiently for the chance to get wet and more importantly get other people wet.

Ali Thompson, shown here chipping onto the 18th green, finished her last round with a 74 for a final score of 225, just two back from the winner, Amy Beth Simanton, who shot a 73 on Tuesday for a score of 223 at the John Dropping Invitational at Hillcrest Country Club.

A Boise policeman talks to one of two occupants that was in a vehicle that rolled onto to its top Monday morning in an accident at the I-84 off ramp at Overland Road in Boise. One of the occupants was attended to by first responders and transported from the scene in an ambulance. Fortunately nobody appeared to be seriously injured, but no reports were available at the time of this post.

The three women who were rescued yesterday evening from the Boise River were pretty nonchalant about the whole ordeal. One of them, Lisa Marino (right), was quoted in the paper today as saying "We weren't scared." Apparently not.
