Abby Reche, 6, was pretty serious about her sidewalk drawing and got her hands chalky in the process at the Eagle ARTS Faire at Heritage Park in downtown Eagle on Saturday morning. The faire continues on Sunday, with youth art activities beginning at 11am. The faire closes at 3pm.

While editing this photo from the fireworks show Saturday night at Ann Morrison Memorial Park in Boise, the mix of red and blue colors slightly offset (timed exposures are not always perfect) reminded me of a 3D image. If you have a pair of those glasses with blue on one eye and red on the other give it a look and let me know if it works.

Late Friday afternoon I noticed a storm coming into Boise bringing wind, rain and lightning.
