Is skewed an harder to the right than the majority of the rest of the media is skewed left? There are hard statistical studies from reliable sources, I haven't found one that supports the allegation that Fox is a shill for the right. I know for damn sure that Juan Williams isn't a right winger. (I really like Juan by the way. Good, honest man as far as I can tell.)

Do they have any programming for the other point of view? I think not. Murdoch wouldn't allow it.
Do they even employ a moderator that stays neutral during interviews? You know someone like Tim Russert or Larry King. If they do, who is that?
Of course this doesn't even address their news reporting: If a little blond teenager goes missing- it becomes their biggest news story. If a teenage girl of color goes missing, that's maybe a passing story. (Just explain that intense scrutiny of the disappearance of Natalie Holloway in Aruba? Did all other news stop? How many teenagers disappear every day?)
Fox practices sensationalist journalism and appeals to the lowest IQs. Why would I bother listening to their editorials?

While I agree with you FOX News is rather kind to the Republican side, it does so with class and dignity. Just like many of the liberally slanted people on this board, it seems the Libs can't voice an opinion without some vitriolic rant. Its really quite interesting how Conservatives can voice an opinion without frothing at their mouths, and Liberals are seemingly ready to stab a person with a contrary viewpoint.

I liked Olbermann at first, but he's becoming the liberal
version of O'Reilly or Limbaugh.
I think he is a little closer to Micheal Savage
Rush and Bill tend to be a little more moderated in their tone. O'reilly tries to sensationalize sometimes, and Rush pokes fun all the time, but neither of them really participate in the spittle flying antics like Olberman and Savage.

Olbermann is highly critical of the Republican party and Bush right now, because somebody's got to be. They've destroyed this country with the help and complacency of the media for the last eight years. If the Democrats were destroying this country and committing scores of illegal, unethical and secret acts, I have no doubt Olbermann would call them on the carpet too. Its not his fault the Repubs have given him so much more to criticize.

I think that's completely true. I mean, isn't he really a sportscaster? I think he felt that no one was speaking up about this administration and just got dragged into being the only person speaking up. (Unless you count Jon Stewart lampooning them.)
I also agree with BrokenArrow below. The American people want to be spoon fed, that's why they swallow the garbage that the right wing media dishes up. They are too cowardly or self-involved to think for themselves. If they actually listened to Olbermann, they might actually have to think about what's going on.
If Edward R. Murrow were alive today, I think the right would smear him, and he wouldn't have a job.

I respect him pointing out facts that challenge the administration's version of issues. I appreciate him presenting facts that disprove policital talking points. I even find his sometimes over-the-top editorials thought provoking.
However, this personal rivalry with Bill O'Reilly is just distasteful. I could care less what either of them has to say about the other. The news should never be about those reporting the news!
His reporting of the conventions was disappointing. He let his dislike for the GOP take over and ruin his coverage of the two events.

I swear CNBC is programmed by Ruppurt himself. I hope Oberman and Shuster leave and go to a new network that is a counter to Fox. I'd gladly drop NBC and it's affiliates in a heartbeat. Gregory is a good guy. If the three left, MSNBC would go down.
