Does anyone know how many people the kibbie dome holds? On T.V. it looked like the ends were pretty empty. I thought the dome only held about 15,000

The dome holds about 16000, but you're right, it was probably a lot less. Idaho reports "tickets sold". I know, it's kind of misleading....sort of like when bsu states they have a "whole bunch" of merit scholars, and how much their academics have improved.

I must admit I was astonished to see the sports headline today! Way to go!

I've been to two games (both against BSU) when the dome seated 17,600 and 17,000 for football and there were still some seats available.

I think there is a realistic chance Idaho could start the season 4-1. They have some issues on D-Line that need to be addressed but overall they dominated ISU. The fourth quarter meltdown was a bit disapointing and they need to make sure they finish teams and not sleepwalk through quarters.

The problem for the Vandals will be the rest of the schedule after a possible 4-1 start. But, heck I will take it.

on their win. I think the fact that it took a win over a lower division team to snap a losing streak of national epic proportion should speak volumes about where this program belongs right now. I'm not saying it should stay there, but for the health of the school and this program, they really need to think about rebuilding from a less competitive platform to ensure their future. I'm NOT a BSU grad or booster, so don't even go there. This is a simple, logical observation about a long suffering program that needs to find a path to get back to competitive levels. Again, Vandals, congrats on your win, and good luck with your future.

Baby steps helps a program that is starting over. Anyone remember the Broncos after the late Pokey Allen. The Broncos did it right and are still doing it right. Start with small victories and build the program. The problem is I dont see the Vandals ever getting to the next level like BSU. I do believe the school is not growing like BSU and it is going to be very difficult to recruit to U of I.

Let it be known that a BSU fan is happy about an Idaho win. Idaho needs to get better - to make the WAC better!!

Maybe Idaho needs a gimmicky offense to become more competitive. Perhaps they could run the triple option. Running an unusual offense that your opponents rarely see may make Idaho more competitive.

I love it. U of I beats ISU and somehow it turns into a big ol BSU v U of I fight with both sides slinging mud. I didn't even realize BSU went to that game. Musta been on the sidelines or something huh?
