Win all the "hearts & minds" you want, I_D_GI
We won't be able to leave until an AMERICAN LEADER says "enough is enough". Among current possibilities, only Barack Obama has the strategic acumen, the political horsepower, and the tactical wisdom to accomplish an honorable withdrawal. His opponent is an attack dog by nature who will escalate us into strategic defeat.
Realism or polls
Who do you want to lead our military?
I think its Obama that has changed his views and policies to be more in line with what McCain has been saying all along.
Obama has gone from saying we need to pull completely out in months, to NOW saying "responsible end to the war"
Amazing.
Amazing
Barack has always said we need to leave with as much care as we carelessly went in. He's wise to pubic attack methods and has left them nothing to do but whine. Carry on.
OneOp
I don't recall Barack saying we would completely pull out in months. I do recall saying he would start to pull the troops out in months.
Much like the extreme left, the extreme right twists the facts to fit their particular need.
