This was a great positive article. You were the one who wanted to make a deal out of it using a BSU Vandal fight. GROW UP. This article was all about "SUCCESS" WORK ETHIC...give the kid and the person who did write it some credit for writting a positive story. GOOD LUCK VS ISU.

The majority of Vandals in Boise don't move to Boise......we were born/raised here. FYI, Idaho Alums built the majority of the state so we can/will live wherever we want. You can alway leave the state if you'd like though.

Idaho Alums did NOT build a majority of the state. However, I will admit they did contribute to the bulk of DUI and underage drinking convictions / drinking deaths throughout the history of our state.

Not funny on DUI stuff. Real Borah Lions would remember one of the greatest men to coach at Idaho/ made Borah what it once was...ED TROXEL. Maybe not the best win loss at Idaho but one of Idaho Greatest ever in High School. Great man too.
GROW UP on the DUI Stuff. Again, this is an article positive about a kid making the starting lineup as a freshmen. Just like we heard all year last year on the Freshman WR from BSU...great great acomplishment. GIVE THEM CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE.

ED TROXEL was, indeed, a great man and coach. He was before my time, but I've heard the stories and know the legend. The "U"...no longer a complete U...was named for him...Troxel Dr.

I appreciate (as do others I am sure on this topic your apology). You are right on about Coach Troxel. A great man he was a legend. You would have loved to meet him. ( yes you are too young to remember, 51 year olds like me do...) He went on to be a great coach in Wash. High School history and his son now at Lake City Van has been outstanding there.
I understand all about having fun in this BSU Vandal deal. However when you have had a person close to you die of a Drunk Driver..that will hit me hard. I am not against Drinking, just what happens when people do not think and drive drunk. That gives people who are responsible a bad name. TO me it is no jokeing topic.
SO, I am out on this. Good luck to BSU this year. GO VANDALS and see you all Nov 15 in Moscow for what I believe will be a great game I hope. To all the players. I say, Bronc or VANDAL stay healthy.

...to post mean stuff like that. I have a lot of Vandal friends who are very good and decent people. Their only real flaws are that they suffer from Vandalitis and the verbal diarrhea that accompanies the affliction.
Once a Borah Lion, always a Borah Lion...so we are brothers/sisters. My apologies for my mean spirited comments above. My kids are Borah Lions, too.
Football, however, is another story entirely....all bets are off there! :-)

Calm down. Yes I went to BSU in 1973 for postgrad. Already had a degree from NNU. Have followed their football program ever since. Even through all the obnoxious years when Idaho actually had a decent football program and BSU sucked.

Excuse me if the BSU "medical expert" has me confused. But I grew up in Nampa during the 80's and 90's and I distinctly remember the local COLLEGE being NNC, not NNU. Wouldn't expect a former crusader/donkey to remember the name of the school they supposedly graduated from? Side note: check out:
