So
Yawn
Left right paradigm. They're all bought and paid for by corporations. They're all globalist.
North American Union, here we come!
Obama is going to pull a ValueJet
30,000 feet nose first into the everglades never to be seen again.
So avoid the rush...shoot yourself now...
Even if the pessimist in me realizes there is a small grain of truth in what you say...I cannot give up hope that the Constitution will prevail.
BTW...just kidding on that gun thing...
Increased personal tax
Increased personal tax burden - no signup required!
Dimished middle class - no membership required!
Less healthcare benefits for a higher price - a once in a lifetime opportunity!
Increased police state - give up liberty for increased security!
McCain the "hero"
Obama the "change" agent
Peas in a pod
The best thing that could happen to America right now...
is for aliens to vaporize both the DNC and RNC.
I am tickled to my toes!
you guys can bash and trash all you want, but I have seen something that was impossible to imagine when I was young. We have come a long way, Baby!!!!!!!
I just watched Bill Clinton and John Kerry speak...I miss Bill!!
I am still tingling. Both did a fantastic job. Just imagine a country run by intelligent compassionate forces.
So we're basing our next leadership
on good speakers, that tingle our toes?
Sorry, I have higher standards.
No........on new leadership.........8 years of failed domestic
and foriegn policy...how much are we supposed to endure. Go back to the Clinton years where things made sense and sound fiscal and foriegn policy.
McSame would be a disasterous choice.
You know it's true.
Boo Hoo...
..truer words were never spoken. I fully agree with you. I am as ecstatic as you are!
And what in the hell is wrong with a candidate making your toes tingle?? That, to me, would be a good sign! :-)))

Biden is the Biggest Wind Bag
I have ever heard. Wow... this guy could be a landslide for McCain..

Ooops the Magic Man just came on stage...
2 pups.........I can see your point. But at least he has
relevant talking points. Give him a chance before defaulting to your RNC talking points.
I will do the same for McSame.
OneOP....
...yeah, we've seen / lived what your higher standards have gotten us. Eight years of Hell on Earth.
High standards by OO
Bush = high standards. Dillusional at best OO... git s in da line beotch.
You are right, boo...
Both said it loud and clear. We desperately need to remove the Republican corruptive forces to make America great once again. They have compromised the very values that our wonderful country was founded upon. Bankrupted us fiscally and morally. All they have are the wedge issues anymore. Where can they claim that they hold a higher standard?
America - Improve it or Lose it
B_dub............yes indeed. It is time for America to be stron
again. Both domestically and abroad.
The repukes killed the EV1 electric car. Had they not don that we would be well along the way to energy independance.
What mattered to them at the time was that the oil companies weren't going to make the $$ they are making now.
Patriotism???
NOT!!!!!!!!!
Do you have an unbiased
source for this?
Oh yes.........just google ev1.
.....it'll open your eyes. Or rent the movie "Who killed the electric car?"
oo
How about using your brain. Simpleton following sheep.
Great News!
A unified party will beat McCain.
Looks like they'll all worship at one unified Temple!
One unified party. One unified worship. One unified messianic acclimation. One Anointed One.
Seriously, that Greek Temple background was a real mistake...
Toga! Toga! Toga!
Greek=Democracy. Yeah, terrible, terrible message.
Whatever your meds are mela, up the dosage.
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
I just hope he doesn't ride out on the back of a swine.
Check the Book of Revelation if you don't understand...
That was written by the Original Ghostwriter...
When does Nostradamus get to date Madonna?
Saint John
held the pen, the Lord was the author.
Holy Har Meggido!
You are one of those AIPAC supporters that wants to keep Israel safe so Baby Jeebus can come back?!?!?!
John the Apostle was INSANE, the Book of Revalation the rantings of a mad man.
And to you it is "gospel" truth.
THAT, my friend, is really f**king scary.
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
Religious Prejudice
I thought liberals were against religious prejudice. Guess not.
Prejudice? No, mela, wrong again.
Perhaps you should look the word up, because I am certainly not exhibiting prejudice, there might be a touch of BIAS in there but really it is more a case of scorn and ridicule, to which I admit freely.
You are, of course, entitled to all the religious freedom you like, this IS America after all. And under that SAME freedom, I am more than entitled to make fun of you and your kooky beliefs (I notice you did not refute or otherwise contest what I actually said).
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
Your own words reveal your prejudice.
A person who disagrees with a faith would say something like "I think you are wrong, I don't hold to the same religious beliefs"
A person who is prejudiced would say something like "You are one of those AIPAC supporters that wants to keep Israel safe so Baby Jeebus can come back?!?!?! John the Apostle was INSANE, the Book of Revalation the rantings of a mad man." and "kooky beliefs".
Prejudice is real, and exposed in your words.
LOOK IT UP!
Read the actual DEFINITION of the word, mela. I am not exhibiting prejudice, since my view on the Christian Church has, if you will pardon the term, evolved over the years. There is no "prejudice" in it, yet I DO admit that there is bias on my part, I admit to enjoying laying scorn and ridicule upon the ridiculousness that is the KJV Bible and those churchs that so blindly follow it's dogma.
And again, you have not done anything to refute or otherwise argue the point. If you have any information that would refute the premise the John the Apostle was out of his friggin' mind when he wrote Revelation, put it up. If you have any explaination for why we should follow a Zombie Jew and ritalistically engage in cannibalism and vampirism I'd really like to hear it.
But you can't defend it, so you attack me as accuse me of prejudice when it is clear you have NO idea what the word even means.
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
Grandjester, I understand you think you are not "pre-judging" ..
...without having all the facts, but believe me, you are and one day you will know this.
However, I am referring to your treatment of a person who holds a different belief that you, and your condescending, insulting, and rude method of stating your difference. In the common lexicon, you are showing prejudice by placing yourself above another group and acting toward that group in a demeaning way.
If you think you can avoid being defined as prejudiced through legalistic definitions, you are wrong. In the popular lexicon, you are acting in a prejudiced way. Typical.
Can't we all just get along?
Peace, peace. Stop the fighting. Respectful disagreement is the word for the day. Smiles. :)
For the love of Odin!
Prejudice:
"An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts."
I have formed my judgement AFTER reading the bible and examining the facts, so your supposition fails on this definition.
"A preconceived preference or idea."
Again, not "preconcieved", fail part deux.
"The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions."
Again, my view MAY be "unreasonable" but it is NOT "preconcieved", fail again.
"Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion."
My view is in no way "irrational", I do have my suspicions but I do not hate Christians, so yet again, FAIL.
On EVERY definition, you are flat out WRONG.
Mockery is not prejudice mela, and I'll admit to being rude and condecending on this particular topic, yet I can't help but notice, that again you argue semantics and have nothing to respond to or refute my actual points. How about it? Care to disprove anything I said?
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
Grandjester, your semantics fail to cover up your prejudice/
Again, in the common lexicon, you are exhibiting religious prejudice. Is it so hard to respectfully disagree? Unfortunately, Christians are one of the last groups for whom it is politically correct to be prejudiced of.
Yes, they are so discriminated against...
We constantly see how they are not allowed to practice their religion, or build their churches, or how under-represented they are in government, and how over-represented they are in prisons. Poor christians...nobody loves them...
I pulled every single definition of the word from the
Merriam-Webster website and refuted your claim, what "common lexicon" are you reffering to?
I ADMIT to bias and intolerance where the Church is concerned, I ADMIT to subjecting it and some of it's more "touched" followers like yourself to scorn and ridicule. What I will not admit, nor accept is the "prejudice" label you are incorrectly trying to apply to me.
None of which refutes ANY of my original points, since you obviously have NO argument. You can ONLY argue sematics because you yourself KNOW exactly how ludicrous your belief system is.
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
Those who are prejudiced...
...rarely see it as prejudice.
Pot, meet kettle...
...
Mela, why are you beating this long dead horse?
You are WRONG, you are mis-using the word by ANY AND ALL definitions.
Just another dodge too, you just can't engage on the merits (or lack thereof) of your religion so you just try and pin an incorrect label on me.
PATHETIC.
http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm
See above
And look in mirror. Prejudice in one's self is hard to see, but can be found.
See above...
And look in mirror. Prejudice in one's self is hard to see, but can be found.
we're all prejudiced
No one should try to pretend otherwise. We all have value judgements. I may think your belief system is ridiculous, and you might think I'm crazy. We have to agree to disagree. Prejudgment is a part of life. You have opinions and stereotypes about everything that you haven't experienced personally. No one can fault you for having an opinion. It might be wrong for lack of information, or colored by your particular world view, whatever...You should always be open to changing those ideas. I would only consider someone "prejudiced" if, when confronting with new information contradicting previous held beliefs, they refuse to even consider it and continue on as before. Open your minds!
Camerong, good point
I agree. Good point.
I think people in Boise are stupid
but then I live there, it must be something else.
It's rare that you make me smile
but smile I did!
I prefer the mythology of the Odyssey, thank you.
He rode out of obscurity under the belly of a swine, while the cyclops was screaming NOBODY IS KILLING ME!
Sheep
It was sheep, not swine.
Oops. You're right. How could I confuse the two?
Thanks for the catch.
In some parts of the country, such a mistake could be
embarassing when you go out on a Saturday night.
