Sen. Larry Craig to skip GOP convention in St. Paul, Minn. : comments

Not to worry Larry,

you could always pack along a port-a-potty.

Did you see SNL

They had a DOUBLE port-a-potty on the Ambiguously Gay Duo; and they tried to set up a sting to see if Ace & Gary were gay.

Ha Ha Ha!!!

This story is too funny! Why can't I stop grinning? :-D

way to easy....

way to easy....

Did you mean

Way too easy?

In other words!

Susanne has grounded him! HAhaha

And Miss A Chance At Revisiting The Minn. Airport?

Perhaps the good Senator has turned over a new leaf?

fig?

(leaf)

fig?

(leaf)

what's a leaf-worth?

heheh

Larry takes a solid stance in Idaho and won't go

Now why would Larry go where all of his colleges are going to be. To many people there that would reccognize his wide stance. To many stiff members swinging. He would not be able to contain himself and his toe would start tapping and his finger waving from the excitement. Quite possibly causing him to back into something.

Backing accidents are always

the messiest.

thank you for running this

it's all too, too funny that he is not going. "because he is retiring" is such a great cop out.
It's really due to the media frenzy of his being at the airport so close to his court date (and fear of dating in the men's room).

Probably afraid that he will be

inducted into the "Stall of Fame". Thank you, Thank you very much!

Oh oo

Does it hurt when you get punched in the nose? You sure can throw your crap around these threads but when somebody bashes your right wing lunatic fringe you get your feathers ruffled.

I think even Jay Leno

has given up on Craig jokes.

Does anyone smell a dead horse?

No dead horse.

He brought this upon himself. Please, be the first to step up to his defense.

After the laughing, I do feel some embarrassment for him, but then I remember his voting record and laugh again!

GrayMatter, then you have the Democrat Mcgreevey telling the

whole US and his wife only a half hour before he was a gay man with a lover. How do you think his wife felt.
I do laugh at how these idiots get caught. Its goes for both sides.

Gee, terigro, did you miss the fact that

McGreevey resigned, which was appropriate. Craig did not. Craig lied some more and then used campaign funds to defend himself from the indefensible.

You are never one to let facts get in the way of not making an actual point, are you?

GrayMatter, I was pointing out that both sides basically have

gay men. McGreevy was caught he just came out faster. But wow a half hour before the news broke. Larry was wrong to do that in the bathroom he is being charged for it and I agree he should be. But I'm tired of hearing how bad the Republicans are when the Democrats are just as bad.

No, terigro, McGreevey didn't break any laws.

He also resigned from his public position, unlike our little bathroom boy.

I would call those major differences, not the same at all. One admits his lifestyle, one does not. One does something resulting in arrest, one does not.

One uses campaign funds to fight his justified arrest, one does not - because why? Oh yeah, he didn't do anything illegal.

Why is it so difficult for you to comprehend the differences? Apples, Grapes. Are these two fruits the same thing to you teri?

Give 'em hell, Gray

Welcome back, let's have some fun.

Let's do have some fun, Morse!

Whatcha got for me???

What I gotted for you

Triple digits and fresh vegetables.

Really, I hadn't noticed those triple digits!

It was so evasive today! Nothing oppressive about today's heat or last night's for that matter. But fresh veggies are a good by product!

Good to be about, but one must be prepared for such outings.

Preparation is essential

Would you prefer invasive? You are so "clinical."

A "clinical" perspective

can be so useful in detaching emotion from fact and humor. That is why I often present in such a fashion. It is second nature to me and I am comfortable with that milieu. It only seems cold, in reality, in entails actually comprehending the fullness of emotion and human nature which may influence decisions, behaviors, opinions and outcomes. After all, this isn't a popularity contest, it is an opinion blog and by definition, real life.

Invasiveness is sometimes essential to this process, I cannot deny. More often than not, actually.

Take this, Ms. Clinical

Oftentimes rigidity negates the more subtle, ethical principles that permeate the universe. One must seek integration at the most personal level. Do you like coconut?

It is true, rigidity

is not often the best course. But that shouldn't be confused with a clinical perspective. A clinical perspective still leaves room for empathy, ideas and advocacy. Rigidity, not so much.

Coconut is okay at best, for cooking certain foods coconut milk rocks.

Do you like fennel?

Fennel

I had a crush on a girl named Mary Fennel in high school. Isn't the clinical perspective based primarily and possibly entirely on scientific and statistical information? Where, Ms. Matter, does the human element enter the picture?

Fennel aside,

the clinical perspective could never exist outside of the human perspective. Ever. It is about humans. It entails applying a variety of knowledge to human beings in a way that benefits or allows them to self actualize what it is they are experiencing.

All about humans

It is my hope that you truly mean what you just said. Healing is an important part of life. Medical care givers that can empathize with their patients participate in something much larger than themselves.

It is in fact, Morse,

what providers do. People care for people, not numbers, not pieces, not parts, but people. You know, it isn't like I am not a human who has not experienced joy, pain, depression, weakness, incredible strength, confusion, or faced my own mortality. In my years, I have lived and felt, as we all do.

Healing is life.

Tribulations are life.

Sickness is life.

Of course I mean what I just said. Why would I state it otherwise? Clinical perspectives are only a buffer from burdening ones self from the actual suffering of fellow humans. We all feel it as providers, but we cannot possibly place that burden upon ourselves to live it with actual patients, or we would never be able to objectively and fruitfully and appropriately intervene. NO?

It is harder than you think to care for others in aspects of living and dying. In my personal experience, it is easier to be facing one's own life and death, than another's.

terigro

Yes it does go for both sides. Why can't everyone R's and D's grow up and accept it. I watched the DNC tonight and the rhetoric was sickening. It's all the same old sh_tty rhetoric spewing from peoples mouths. I am so sick and tired of Democrats and Republicans! They are ALL idiots. Let's take a perfectly good beach and draw a line in the sand and start fighting over who belongs where! Fricking mindless gophers!

Only a few

Bones remaining by now.

Nope.

Better for Larry to skip than tap.

Not until the horse dies

Can you see Toetapper skipping...........................maybe through the tulips, would be nice. Is that dead horse still in office feeding from our trough? I think so. All's fair in love and politics. I'm glad he's not going, I slipped on something(I think it was something Larry left) in that stall last time I was there. Good JOB Larry. Didn't think you had it in you. Oh, that's funny. Can't seem to get enough Larry? Call me! I'm staying in Idaho also.

Fraidy cat, fraidy cat!!!!

Me thinks he's afraid to set foot in that lovely state without a lawyer at his side. Oops....I meant to say "in the adjoining stall"!!!!!!

Thanks for getting us over the "Potato State" stigma,

Wide Stance, happy trails.

Is Larry's stall going to be on the tour? Along with the collapsed bridge? What perfect emblems of Republican rule. Sublime.

You must not be critical with the honorable Senator.........

He will be coming home soon and be wondering about a lot of personal issues. He is human after all. I just hope he doesn'g off himself once realizing the shame he brought to his family and sate. Not for being gay, heck that's ok, but for being in denial and then spending $400,000 in "Campaign Fund" money for a useless defense.

I always opposed his politics. He was a classical example of a Republican whoring for the extraction industries....but I do feel human compassion for him because I know he is struggling.

I guess that's because I'm a democrat. I suppose if I were a Republican, I would just hate him.

I said it once, I'll say it again...

If Craig wants to put this to bed {or to stall, or where ever} he and Susan must put out a sex tape. It worked for Paris, and Kardashian. So come on Larry and Susan. Spare us. Just do it, take his cherry on tape...

Let's Start a Disgraced Republican Thread....

Name the Disgraced Republican, then use the Disgraceful Act as a nickname.

(we all know about Larry, he doesn't count)

I'll start.

1. Mark "Hey Cody, wanna go out for a coke?" Foley

America - Improve it or Lose it

David "Diaper" Vitter

http://www.constitution.org/constit_.htm

OK, That's Two Disgraced Republicans, do I hear three?

You know, GJ, the beauty of this is that if the Neo-bots start their own thread about disgraced dems, the list will be a lot shorter, kind of proving my point here...and the list of disgraceful acts is a lot more imaginative too....

America - Improve it or Lose it

How far back can we go?

Stevens of Alaska. Packwood from Oregon. Delay of Texas. Cunningham of California.

We're listing them one at a time, SSDD...

...so go ahead and append the thread with the appropriate number in front of the Scandalous Republican.

America - Improve it or Lose it

TEddy

Teddy the swimmer. Woops he is a Democrat MURDERER.

Scooter the Cooter Libbey

a personal favorite

Perfect, badnana, do I hear FOUR????

...Scooter the Cooter....love it.

NEXT?

C'mon, be creative! This is your chance!

America - Improve it or Lose it

How about howlin' for the wolf?

Paul Wolfowitz?
