I'm sorry, but that has nothing to do with the
fact that the OLDer men knew that they were breaking the law. If you take a young child and train them (ie take sexual advantage of them from an early age) to think that their value in life is sexual, then you will never see them object to having sex even if they don't want to. They will, out of frustration and self-hatred, then do all kinds of self-destructive behavior.
Don't talk about consent when it is not the issue and has nothing to do with the reason these nasty men were busted. They certainly knew that if they just picked up a couple of females of legal age they would not be in this mess.

Just exactly what do you think the media ( advertising ) does each and every time these children look at television or listen to music or the radio or shop? This is where the real exploitation of children is taking place but it's legal here. We're just training them for adulthood by taking advantage of their innocent minds from an early age.
I'm not even going to say anything about parents, etc. in this issue. We know where the responsibility should lay.

Love is taught, like the art of sexual performance is, and it mostly depends upon gratification and pleasure to one, or the other, OR BOTH individuals involved. The act of procreation turned entertainment reveals yet another bungling by the GOVERNMENT, trying to protect humans from themselves and THEIR NATURAL PROCLIVITIES. Sex is a natural activity. Once again mankind has changed the "RULES OF NATURE" that often carry adverse affect for "ONLY" certain individuals involved in an act of NATURE. Manipulating or reclassifying NATURAL ACTS is done by individuals, males and females inorder to obtain desired results THAT ARE NOT NATURAL. The all controlling unit of appointed or elected managers of society for the betterment of mankind make their DECREE, and WHAM-O, WE GOT AN INFRACTION. Mind you these same legislating idiots, have failed to prevail in curbing childbirth, poverty, lunacy, in solving cancer, nor have they created anything better than NATURE DOES WITHOUT MAN'S HELP!! The biggest problem is MANKIND'S inability to live within the parameters of NATURE, PLUS, man's inability to accept HIS OWN MORTALITY. Nature provides the answers, man is just screwing everything up.

How sad some make the victims the guilty party. If it were a 15 year old girl and a 19 year old boy, it would be different. Phillips was 64 years old, for Heaven's sake.

Appears they had multiple sex partners, which is hardly unusual for people of lots of ages. Not supporting it, but reality. Not yet proven they were paid with cash and/or drugs. Not yet proven that the girls advertised. Not yet proven the guys advertised, either. Also not yet proven whether there was any coercion or force used.
Unlikely there will be any soliciting charges since the females are minors.
What I'm happiest about is the charge for trying to bribe/coerce a witness. Just possible the half million bond will keep him in jail a little longer. Talk about taking an extra Stupid Pill.

but this time, no. If a young girl is sexually abused, there is a strong chance she will become promiscuous later. If sexual attention is the only kind she is given, that is what she values. So little information here to be judging those girls, and if it were just flagrant prostitution, the girls were still victims at one point. Sociology 101

I did not know there were sexually abusive parent(s) or caretaker(s).
I have heard the argument that sexually abused kids become sexual abusers but sometimes they continue to be victimzed and sometimes they become promiscuous and sometimes they become sexually repressed and repulsed by sex and all things sexual...The "child" can take on varying "kinks" it seems.
I know people who were physically abused and severely punished by their parents and they will not lay a hand on their own children.

they go on to be competely healthy, functional members of society! Go figure.

You state in your own words that the girls have a "strong chance" of becoming promiscuous, however they still have a choice. Not all girls who are promiscuous do so out of being abused either. Many girls/women express themselves or reach out sexually (especially teen to early adult years) in order to establish their independence/adulthood. Or maybe it's the opposite, that the girls wanted to get back at their parents for something and they chose to do it in a way that would hurt them. You just never know, but I hardly think one can automatically draw the line from the actions reported in this case to abuse. It's too much of a leap when looking in from the outside.

This girl knew exactly what she were doing and most likely recruited the other that was with her. She will be doing the same thing when she turns 18. I believe what she is doing is called prostitution? She should be charged with solicitation. 15 is old enough to work and she chose this instead of McDonalds.

If they accepted money for the acts I hardly see them as unwilling "victims". I am not talking statutory rape or anything along those lines which at a strectch would appear they were victims. If all you say is true they are just underage prostitutes.

Misfortunes unfolded in these young lives that caused them to develop addictions strong enough to trade their bodies for drugs. Stop making them victims here. They had to remove their clothes and touch that man, and another, and let themselves be touched by them, and that should be punishment enough. A mature man can trick an immature girl into thinking that sex is just what she wants, that she is free and liberated for wanting it, and that the payments exchanged for sexual favors are really just gifts. On the surface it may appear that everyone got what they wanted, but the true costs of such abuse may not be known for a long time. Take it from someone who has been there, and before you think your happy, well-adjusted, addiction-free daughters are not in danger from men like these, understand that drugs and booze, or designer clothing, cars, and handbags, are not the only ways to illegally seduce someone. Sometimes all it takes are kind words at the right moment.
