IN Rome final.

I've never suspected AP of having writers in possession of writing skills representative of those beyond 4th grade, but it almost sounds like one of you guys edited it.

PS TO implies WIN would follow, which was already covered in the beginning. You may have tried to rewrite and left a fragment of verb placement at the end unexcised during the editing process.
