We have some talented photographers at the Idaho Statesman and now we've made it easier for you to purchase reprints of their work. All of the photos taken by our photographers since Aug. 24 that ran in the newspaper are available here. (You can submit a request for an earlier photo and we'll try to accommodate.) Choose the size you want and follow directions on the online form for submitting payment.

First, right below the multimedia box, we've added quick access to the most recent work from many of our columnists. Click on the names to see their three most recent columns. Click on "more..." to access the rest on that columnist's page.

Having trouble posting a comment? You may need to log off and log back in. Because we are using the same database of users (meaning you didn't have to re-register), that's the easiest way to get the new system to "recognize" you.

Starting today, gift certificates will go on sale at 10% off. As the week goes on, the discount grows — 20% off on Tuesday, 30% off on Wednesday, 40% off on Thursday, and finally 50% off on Friday. Take a risk and wait for a bigger discount, or lock in your savings now. You decide.

If you're a fan of Treasure Valley area high school sports, please check out the new look. We think you'll like it.

The left-hand side is much the same - you can find different fall sports by category. We've added a lot of items to the right-hand side of the page. You'll see a pulldown menu of all the Treasure Valley area schools where you'll find stories throughout the school year. Below that is a menu of sports pages so you can see other news stories sorted by sport.

Restaurant gift certificates almost gone

If you were hoping to wait until Friday to get 50 percent off a restaurant gift certificate, you might be out of luck. Most of the gift certificates are sold out. Right now, it looks like 19 of the 45 restaurants have gift certificates left.
