A kids' store, P.S. from Aeropostale, is coming to the Boise Towne Square mall this spring. It will replace Hickory Farms in a space near the Aeropostale (the one for grown-ups) on the second level of the mall. Look for the new store to open around early May.

The Bureau of Land Management has delayed a decision on routes for the controversial Gateway West power line across southern Idaho.
The federal agency had tossed out two routes across the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey area that had been negotiated by the involved parties. Instead it chose a route through private land through Kuna and Melba, angering residents, local and state officials.
The final EIS was scheduled for release Friday but officials made the announcement of the delay at Idaho Gov. Butch Otter’s Capitol for a Day in Kuna.
Former Boise State cornerback Jamar Taylor made a strong showing in Senior Bowl practices this week in Mobile, Ala., and will play for the North team in the game at 2 p.m. MST Saturday (NFL Network).

I’m covering Idaho Gov. Butch Otter’s Capitol for a Day in Kuna this morning at its city hall.
I’m here because Bureau of Land Management officials are on hand to talk about the controversial Gateway West power line transmission project. One of the proposed routes runs right through Kuna.
Otter said this is his 61st Capitol for a Day. He remembered playing in a country western band years ago in Kuna at a prominent bar called the Redeye Saloon. He said the name was appropriate.
