Hunter Dennis, Centennial: The forward led the Patriots in scoring in two victories last week. In a 49-48 upset of Rocky Mountain, the 6-foot-4 junior scored 19 points. Dennis then added 24 points and five assists in a 61-48 victory over Meridian.


Sierra Rice, Cole Valley Christian: The junior wing paced the Chargers in scoring in two wins last week. In a 42-34 win over Melba, Rice had 20 points, seven rebounds, three steals, three blocks and one assist. The 5-foot-9 junior then had 26 points, eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block in a 46-41 win over Marsing. It was the first conference loss of the season for Marsing.


Jon Fisher, Centennial: The senior returned to the wrestling mat last week for the first time this season, going 6-0 in duals. Fisher, who had been sidelined with a knee injury, went unbeaten at 220 pounds at the Skyview duals and also won his bout in a dual with Vallivue earlier in the week. Fisher was the 5A District Three champion and state runner-up at 195 pounds last season.
