Treefort announces more acts

Boise's annual Treefort Music Fest is raising the bar in its second year.

That was made clear this morning as organizers announced a second wave of acts, including two of the event's three main-stage headliners: experimental rockers Animal Collective and soulful Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings.

These aren't emerging acts. These are critically acclaimed, established performers with the potential to expand the March 21-24 festival to a wider audience.

Watch the video below for the full list of second-wave talent. Then skip down and check out Jones. She's all energy.

You had me at "Animal"

They're legit, and exactly the kind of band that NEVER plays Boise without an event like this. Way to go, folks!

What the heck was that, and why am I still listening to 99.5...

on a beat-up Pioneer SK-71?

Because Stevie Wonder is on, for heck's sake.

Look out I have a Casio CZ-3000 and half a mind.
