Forget the road bike for the morning commute. I dragged out the mountain bike for my 7-mile commute.
First of all, thanks Boise for plowing the Greenbelt. It made the commute easier. However, there is a snow floor on parts of the Greenbelt and icy spots near the bridges and overpasses that make things tricky.
Still, riding the Greenbelt and not the streets for the commute is much safer. The snow and ice ruts on the roads and the narrower lanes because of the snow make tangling with traffic a lot more harrowing.
Have a good commute. I think things will be icy and frozen again by the end of the day.

Better that the Greenbelt is plowed right now...
than people being plowed on the Greenbelt...BRR

Apple users, run the Gig of RAM your PC needs to have and read the dumb tech white papers, wrinkle your forehead and buy more food and toilet paper with the difference. The internet is a piece of junk anyway and your cats know this.
