Boise State tops LSU 89-70

Behind a career-high 34 points from Anthony Drmic, Boise State's men's basketball team rolled to an 89-70 victory against previously undefeated LSU at Taco Bell Arena.

The crowd of 11,210 was the 16th largest in school history and the second largest since 1999 for Boise State.

Drmic was held scoreless in last year's loss at LSU, missing all seven of his field goal attempts. Friday night, however, the 6-foot-6 sophomore made 12-of-18 field-goal attempts and 6-of-10 3-point attempts.

Ryan Watkins had a career-high 17 rebounds (10 offensive) for Boise State. He had 12 points.

Guard Derrick Marks scored 23 points, grabbed six rebounds, had six assists and four steals.

LSU forward Johnny O'Bryant III picked up three offensive fouls in the first half and was limited to 22 minutes before fouling out. O'Bryant, who had three consecutive double-doubles entering the game, finished with 15 points and five rebounds. He turned the ball over six times.

The Broncos improved to 7-2. Boise State's next game is against Idaho at CenturyLink Arena on Thursday night. LSU fell to 6-1.

that would be a great football halftime score...

Apple users, run the Gig of RAM your PC needs to have and read the dumb tech white papers, wrinkle your forehead and buy more food and toilet paper with the difference. The internet is a piece of junk anyway and your cats know this.

wow!

Great game Bronco's! It was even fun being able to watch it on the computer.
Should have gotten 90 points and free burgers for the fans though.
LSU, undefeated no longer.

Only mistake I seen was

Only mistake I seen was Coach Rice's, had his
great crowd, played a great game against a great school then let everyone down over being nice and not scoring one more point. 90 gets the fans a free burger from Wendys. ha ha.
I bet the people that set up the UI BSU BB game next week wish they would have found a bigger facility, Century Links phone booth sized arena will be sold out quick if not all ready. If Idaho didn't want to play in the Pavilion, fine, move it to the Idaho Center in Nampa 10 or 11 thousand could watch.

No hamburger is no big deal, why rub it in?

Drmic is improving and is a great player, glad to he had the FIRE in him for this win. If I were an NBA or D League owner I'd keep my eyes on him.

It wasn't just a hamburger...

it was a cheese burger.

Just ask yourself this; was it just a coincidence that Drmic (I'd like to buy a vowel please Pat) missed a two handed jam in an arena named after Taco Bell? hmmm? What say you truthers, birthers, and grassy knollers out there?
