Murphy area travel map available from BLM

The map gives travel routes for the Murphy and Oreana areas of the Owyhees. Trails and features on the travel map are clear and easy to follow. The map is definitely useful for checking out the terrain and trails. And what's really cool, it's free at Boise area U.S. Bureau of Land Management offices. If you like exploring the Owyhee Front, you definitely need one of these in your glove box. »

Murphy area.
There is more than one Murphy in Idaho. There's the historic gold mining town, Murphy in North Idaho. I never heard of another Murphy, with cacti no less.
Murphy in Owyhee County
Murphy is south of Nampa, across the Snake River on the front of the Owyhee Mountains. It is the county seat of Owyhee County.
It is also the gateway to a lot of motorized trails in the area which are popular with motorcyclists and four-wheelers.
