Power Up returning to Idaho -- sans Palin and Giuliani -- with free admission

Following up on an heavily advertised October stop at the Idaho Center, the Power Up motivational seminar returns next week with events in Twin Falls on Tuesday, Nampa on Wednesday and Boise on Thursday.

This time the event is free. The headliners are real estate investment trainer James Smith; Krish Dhanam, who worked for the late Zig Ziglar; and Scott Lamm, who talks about losing weight, addiction and destructive behaviors.

The seminar featuring former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani
sold more than 3,000 tickets
in October, according to organizers. Tickets were priced at $30.

Meetings like this can get people motivated and feeling

good about doing something....

We need good news these days.

How many actually attended

How many actually attended the previous seminar? I don't know of a single soul that was the least bit interested; especially with Palin on the agenda.

yeah right, this is just what we need in Idaho,

more BS politics. Skip the event - save your money, save your gas.

I'm not riding either bicycle that many miles for anything.

Nothing happened and what if it did?

I would pay to see Tina Fey,

but wouldn't walk across the street to see Sara Palin.

I wouldn't ruin my jacket to save Fey from a puddle...

I'd get a shovel and fill it in though!
