Five Things You Should Do This Weekend

Actually, let's make it six …

1. GO WITH THE FLOW
It’s Warren Miller Entertainment time. Tug on your ski boots and head to the theater for ”Flow State," which hits the Egyptian at 7 p.m. tonight and 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday. It’s $15 evenings, $13 matinee. (And you thought Edward Cinemas was spendy!)

2. TALK BACK TO CHEF ROBERT IRVINE
Push-up beast Robert Irvine is stoked to be visiting the Treasure Valley on Sunday. The host of Food Network’s ”Restaurant Impossible” will cook up a fully interactive show at the Revolution Center in Garden City.

3. VISIT THE CHURCH OF COUNTRY
With roots in rock music, country star Eric Church uncorks a high-energy live show. Church, who won Album of the Year at the Country Music Awards recently, performs tonight at Taco Bell Arena.

4. PUNK IT UP
New Jersey-based Titus Andronicus is a thinking man’s punk band, but the group wasn’t thinking when it booked two shows on the same night in Boise. OK, yes, it was. The group will play an all-ages gig Saturday at The Crux before heading across the street to over-21 bar Neurolux.

5. CELEBRATE BOISE’S SESQUICENTENNIAL
The Boise Philharmonic and Ballet Idaho team up Saturday for performances in Nampa and Boise. ”Sacred Land” honors Shoshone-Bannock tribal culture. They’ll also perform “The Rite of Spring.”

6. HIT A CHRISTMAS EXPO
The Treasure Valley Christmas Expo happens today and Saturday at the Revolution Center. And the Canyon County Christmas Show is going on today through Sunday at the Idaho Center.
