Two Idaho baseball players make top 100 list

Rocky Mountain’s Mason Smith and Fruitland’s Joe Martarano were each named to Baseball America’s top 100 high school prospects list for the 2013 draft.

The list is based on future pro potential and was put together with the input of dozens of scouts and college coaches.

Smith, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound outfielder and Utah recruit, landed at No. 51.

Martarano, a 6-3, 230-pound third baseman who has committed to play football for Boise State, was No. 86.
