Our Recreation Report in the Sports section of the Idaho Statesman this morning (Nov. 14) is ever evolving as the seasons change.
We've added more information about snow depths in the high country to aid hunters heading to the mountains and also whet the appetite of skiers and snowboarders.
We've picked some of the more popular mountain passes and also ski areas to list snow depths, even though they are meager.
Our Rivers report is changing to include rivers that are used by steelhead anglers and waterfowl hunters instead of whitewater boaters.
If you want to hunt the Snake River near Hammett, just look at the flow listed for Snake River at King Hill. If you're headed to the Salmon River near Riggins for steelhead, look at the flows for the Salmon River at White Bird.
We've continued a few of the reservoirs in our Reservoir level report for late-season anglers.
The report is on Page 6 of the Sports Section.
Good hunting and fishing.
