Watch Boise State men's basketball coach Leon Rice address the media at the Broncos' "media day."

Boise State (13-17 in 2011-12) begins practice Friday.

The Broncos return their top six scorers from last year's team. Boise State returns 76.7 percent of its scoring and 76.8 percent of its rebounding from last year's team. Sophomore Anthony Drimic led the team in scoring (12.0 points per game) and rebounding (5.0 per game).

Boise State has one senior (Kenny Buckner), three juniors, five sophomores and five freshmen on its roster.

The Broncos host Saint Martin's in an exhibition game at Taco Bell Arena on Nov. 2 (7:30 p.m.). They open the season against Texas Southern at Taco Bell Arena on Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.

Good enough for fifth place MW finish?

You pretty much know what you're going to get from UNLV, SDSU, UNM and CSU night in and night out. If the Broncos can stay healthy I think they can be one of the most dangerous teams in the league. I predict they'll finish atop the MW second tier teams and pull off at least one upset of the top four, plus a homecourt win over LSU. Do I hear NIT calling?

no, you dont

I love the broncos but B ball is a mess.
