MCPAWS hosts Oktoberfest Saturday at Alpine Village in McCall

The MCPAWS animal shelter in McCall is hosting its fourth annual Oktoberfest from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Alpine Village.

MCPAWS has found homes for more than 6,000 dogs and cats over the past 10 years.

Saturday's fund-raiser will feature: a beer garden,food and crafts vendors, local organizations and non-profits, live music featuring Innocent Man and Fast and Burning, raffles, arts and crafts, a kids’ activity area and adoptable dogs.

Event times:

- 3 p.m.: Bavarian-themed costume contest (adults and kids)

- 4 p.m.: main raffle (don't have to be present to win)

- 4:30 p.m. & 5 p.m. 2nd chance raffles (must be present to win)

Cost: $10, and that includes three free beer tasting tickets, MCPAWS bag, and keepsake item and sticker.
