Bowen Ogata, Bishop Kelly: The Knights kept their perfect record intact with a 52-9 victory against Kuna. The junior quarterback was nearly perfect as well, completing 18-of-20 passes for 362 yards and four touchdowns.
Jaydon Wilkerson, Emmett: The senior outside hitter led the Huskies to two victories last week. In a 23-25, 25-9, 25-22, 25-15 win over Kuna, Wilkerson pounded out 22 kills. In a 25-21, 25-27, 25-18, 26-24 victory against Nampa, Wilkerson added 30 digs and nine kills.
Kate Murray, Borah: The Lions picked up two victories last week to improve to 5-1-4 overall and 2-1-2 in the 4A SIC. Murray, a sophomore midfielder, scored one goal in a 4-1 upset of Eagle. She then added two goals in a 4-1 victory against Capital. Murray has nine goals and three assists this season, which ties for second-best in the 5A SIC.
Michael Mollay, Boise: The senior forward totaled three goals and one assist in two victories last week. In a 5-1 win against Eagle, Mollay had two goals and one assist. Mollay then added the game-winner in a 1-0 win against Borah in a rematch of last year's state championship game.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Emily Hamlin, Boise: The sophomore had the best finish among District Three individuals at the 38th annual Bob Firman Invitational at Eagle Island State Park. Hamlin completed the 5-kilometer course in 19:00.85, good enough for 13th. According to athletic.net, Hamlin's time is the fifth best in the state this season.
BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Thomas Rigby, Boise: The senior reeled in the best finish among District Three individuals at the 38th annual Bob Firman Invitational at Eagle Island State Park. Rigby finished 27th in a time of 16:22.83. According to athletic.net, Rigby's time is the 18th best in the state this season.
