Meridian corn maze gives Idahoans a chance to vote-by-pumpkin in presidential race

The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival opens Friday with an election-year theme. The maze's image portrays President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney. Friday's edition of the Statesman's
Scene Magazine
will include another cool aerial photo.

Visitors get two chances to register their support. If you're an Obama backer, you enter on the left (ha! ha!); if you favor Romney, you enter on the right. Patrons also may vote in a "straw poll" by tossing a pumpkin in Obama and Romney bins. Almost as cool as vote-by-mail.

History suggests Romney will best Obama,
perhaps by a smashing-pumpkin margin. In 2008, GOP nominee John McCain beat Obama, 62 percent to 36 percent. The race was considerably closer in Ada County, 52 percent to 46 percent. But in neighboring Canyon, McCain won 67 percent to 31 percent.

The Farmstead is at I-84 and Eagle Road.

is ripping all the sinewy, slimy guts out of 'em. ARERRRREWRRRRRR

Some say that

some parts are beneficial for older dogs with digestive problems.
The guts are fun, tho.

Isn't

this where the child molester/employee was busted last year?
I remember his mug shot with his Halloween make-up still on.

You mean...

Freddy Krueger?
