Boise State football coach Chris Petersen met with the local media Monday morning to discuss Thursday's game with BYU. Petersen talked about the 12-year series with the Cougars, their physical play on offense and defense, quarterback Riley Nelson.
And he also discussed Boise State quarterback Joe Southwick's performance against Miami (Ohio), the use of Chris Potter in the "wildcat" and the emergence of wide receiver Aaron Burks.
Petersen made it clear early on that crowd noise at Bronco Stadium could play a big part in the game.
