Jimmy Buffet's Oct. 25 concert goes on sale in less than an hour, and we finally have details about tailgating for those fun-lovin' Parrotheads. Here's the info from Taco Bell Arena, plus a Parrothead-organized pre-party at Chili's:
Parrothead fans can enjoy the same tailgating experience and atmosphere the day of the Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band Lounging at the Lagoon Tour as Bronco fans are accustomed to on football game days. Tailgating favorite food and beverage will be available for purchase, and Parrotheads are welcome to bring their own tailgating spread.
Tailgating and Event Parking Passes will be available for purchase on 9/21/12 at 10:00am at www.idahotickets.com and on the phone at 208.426.1766.
· Event Parking Passes (non tailgating) start at $5.00 in the garages and these parking spaces will open at 5:30pm on 10/25/12
· Tailgating Parking Passes start at $35.00 in the West and East Stadium Lots only and will open at 8:00am on 10/25/12
· RV Tailgating spaces will be available in the East Stadium lot with a limited number of 42 ft or larger RV spaces

There's also going to be a pre-bash at Chili's. Details are still being worked out, but here's part of an email from Chapman Leek, President of the Treasure Valley Parrot Head Club in Boise.
Saw your blog today, wanted to let you know that we and our sister club in Twin Falls (S. Idaho PHC) are working with Joel King @ Chili’s on Broadway to sponsor a Phlocking Party in Chili’s parking lot day of concert. Plan is to set it up similar to what Joel does for BSU home games, fenced off, with his own security, Full bar including Land Shark beer and various tequila’s, Cheeseburgers, Parrot Head games, Etc. I believe Joel is working with Eagle 96.9 as well. We are still working out details. ... We will have information up on website soon, once details nailed down (www.tvphc.org).
Fire up the blenders, folks.
