Idaho elections: ACHD candidate withdraws from race

Dave Litster has pulled his name off the ballot for an Ada County Highway District commissioner's race, citing personal reasons.

Litster, an attorney who ran for a Boise City Council seat in 2011, filed paperwork on Wednesday, withdrawing from the race.

His departure leaves three candidates in ACHD's District 1: incumbent Carol McKee; former legislator and state Democratic Party chairman Jim Hansen; and Neil Piispanan.
