The McDonald's restaurant at 4825 Glenwood — cross street Chinden — will reopen Wednesday after a renovation of its exterior and interior. The store will have a double-lane drive through, new furniture and a plasma television, among other upgrades.
The store will have a grand re-opening Wednesday with:
- 69-cent hamburgers
- 79-cent cheeseburgers
- two Egg McMuffins for $3 during breakfast
- free smoothie and frappe samples
- an appearance by Ronald McDonald during dinner hours
- special discounts for the first 500 people through the door
One dollar of every Extra Value Meal sold during Wednesday's grand opening will benefit the Idaho Ronald McDonald House.
By the way, we'll have a profile of the local McDonald's franchise owners — it's a family company that started decades ago — in an upcoming edition of Business Insider.
