The INL has met more than 1,000 cleanup milestones on or ahead of schedule, mission just five deadlines along the way.
That delayed work has been finished. And the CEO of the site's cleanup contractor says the company is committed to meeting future deadlines.
"Our work force should be commended," Tom Dieter, president and CEO of CH2M-WG Idaho, LLC, said in a guest opinion. "They respond to challenges with creativity and inventiveness, resulting in efficiencies and value to the taxpayer. We remain dedicated to the cleanup effort and the commitments made to the citizens of Idaho."
