Revolution Center announces more concerts: Steve Aoki, Helmet w/Toadies

Looks like it will go down to the wire, but the
Revolution Concert House and Event Center — Revolution Center for short — is still planning to open Aug. 22 with Joe Walsh.

The 2,200-capacity club in Garden City is putting its foot on the gas, booking two more concerts to go along with the small slew already revealed. DJ/producer Steve Aoki headlines Oct. 17. And militarily precise alt-metal act Helmet and '90s pal the Toadies will rock Nov. 2 with Ume opening.

Aoki is a huge name in electronic dance music. With the exception of Deadmau5, it suddenly feels like Boise is getting a taste of all the mainstream EDM names. (Remember,
Skrillex played here last year.)

Tickets to Aoki will cost $29.50/$49.50 VIP. Helmet/Toadies will go for $19.50/$39.50 VIP. Both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at Ticketfly.
