There has been a lot of attention paid to Idaho this week, particularly when it comes to visuals. Here's a round-up:

• A billboard in Caldwell generated interest from around the world, with newspapers in Norway and Sweden contacting us looking for pictures.

• The Rachael Maddow show contacted us for pictures that Chris Butler shot of a retirement home wedding on Sunday. They were featured in a segment on Tuesday night on the nationally televised cable show.

• And finally, a picture story on a North Idaho militia by former Sandpoint photographer Matt Mills McKnight appeared on the front of NBCNews.com this morning.

It's a mixed bag. The billboard and militia photo essay won't be shattering any stereotypes outsiders may have about Idaho, but the retirement home wedding is a very sweet story with great photos by our own Chris Butler.
