F&G to stock trout in August throughout Southwest Idaho

Idaho Fish and Game will release 47,000 catchable-sized rainbow trout throughout Southwest Idaho.

Alturas Lake - Aug. 13, 2,900.

Boise River (above Glenwood Bridge) - Aug. 6 and 20, 2,000 each.

Boise River (below Glenwood Bridge) - Aug. 6 adn 20, 1,800 and 2,000.

M.F. Boise River - Aug. 6, 2,000.

N.F. Boise River - Aug. 6 and 20, 1,500 and 2,000.

Lower Boulder Reservoir - Aug. 6, 1,000.

Brown’s Pond (McCall) - July 30, 700.

Bull Trout Lake - July 30, Aug. 27, 1,000 and 2,000.

Little Bull Trout Lake No. 1 - July 30, 500.

Little Bull Trout Lake No. 2 - July 30, 250.

Crooked River - Aug. 6, 500.

Fischer Pond (Cascade) - July 30, 1,000.

Gold Fork River (Donnelly) - July 30, 750.

Lake Fork Creek (McCall) - July 30, 600.

The number of trout actually released may be altered by weather, water conditions, equipment problems or schedule changes. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions become favorable.
