Campaign event for Congressional candidate and former pro football player

Democratic challenger for Idaho's 1st Congressional District Jimmy Farris will hold a meet-and-greet Sunday in the back yard of a supporter's home located at 1615 Idaho Ave. in Caldwell.

Farris, who accuses incumbent Republican Raul Labrador of wasting taxpayer money, failing to put forth a health-care plan to cover uninsured Idahoans and contributing to Congress' low approval ratings, spent six seasons as a wide receiver and special teams player in the National Football League. His best season was 2003, when he caught six passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns as a member of the Atlanta Falcons.

Farris now lives in Meridian.

Sunday's meet-and-greet is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. and run until 9 p.m.

I love it when I wake up in the morning and Barack Obama is President!!!!!

Farris has GOT to run on anything OTHER than anti-Labradoodle

DEFINITION OF SELF and lack of is going to kill his chances.

I don't mean, "Here are my kids and wife, Amercian flag etc" happy meal ads.

PS Ross Perot's approach was 20 years ahead of it's time, maybe a few more, I realize that.

I'm not sure I actually like him, to this day, as a personality, or a potential leader but he was fairly direct.
