Championship time changed for 7-on-7 passing tournament

The varsity championship game for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Football Challenge has been changed to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Optimist Youth Sports Complex on Hill Road in Boise.

Nineteen Idaho high school football teams ranging from the 5A to 2A classifications continue play at 9 a.m. Saturday with single-elimination games. The junior varsity championship is set for noon.

Admission is free.

The teams scheduled to compete include: Bishop Kelly, Boise, Borah, Capital, Centennial, Columbia, Eagle, Emmett, Fruitland, Highland, Kuna, Lake City, Meridian, Mountain Home, Mountain View, New Plymouth, Rigby, Rocky Mountain and Skyview.
