Musical theater classes at Ballet Idaho

If you’ve ever wanted to sing and dance — or if you already do and just want to do it better — here’s your chance.

Ballet Idaho will offer open classes with musical theater artist Jeffrey Scott Bailey, 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 23, 25-26 at the Esther Simplot Performing Arts Academy.

Bailey started out in ballet with Eglevsky Ballet and other classical companies, but found his niche in musical theater and Lee Theodore’s American Dance Machine, a company that preserves the choreography of the American theater. Bailey toured with the national companies of “Fame: The Musical,” “Grease” (1996), “Dreamgirls,” “A Chorus Line” and others.

Classes are $15 each. Just pay at the door.
