The Eagle Ridge Trail No. 25 in the Boise Foothills will be closed for six days beginning Friday, June 22, to allow for natural noxious weed control by a band of goats grazing in the area.
A similar project last year in the Polecat Reserve ended up with excellent results in terms of a significant reduction in Rush Skeleton Weed, city officials said.
The area can be easily walked or ridden around on the adjacent Eagle Ridge Loop No. 25A Trail.
