Cottonwood Campground at C.J. Strike to be closed two days next week.

This came from Idaho Power today: we will be closing Cottonwood Park at C.J. Strike Tuesday, June 19 and Wednesday, June 20, to spray for weeds. The kochia is pretty thick out there, and it can get large and out of control if we don’t hit it in the late spring/early summer.

This will only affect the one park. Locust, North and Scout will remain open. And Cottonwood should only be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Cottonwood Park is a 12‑acre campground located at the Bruneau Arm on the south-side of the reservoir.

Sounds like a bizarre fraternity pledge.

Hope it's legal.
