RIP Bob Welch: 1946-2012

Many people were unfamiliar with Bob Welch. Few understood his importance to Fleetwood Mac. Others occasionally mistook his solo hits for Steve Miller Band tunes — or just didn't know who sang that "Sentimental Lady" song. As Stevie Nicks says, he was an exceptional musician.
