  • The Writers’ Block: airs every Thursday, Noon-1 p.m. on Boise Community Radio KRBX 89.9. The program is hosted by Jennifer Sanders Peterson and Amanda Turner. 
  • Idaho Writing Camps: It’s time for camp! Join us for a summer adventure in creative writing. The Cabin provides beginning to advanced writing exploration for students in grades 3-12 and adults. Camps are offered in Boise, Hailey, and Twin Falls. Campers work with professional writers in a small group setting, find inspiration in nature and cultural attractions, participate in a reading for family and friends and have their work published in Words Work Wonders, a professionally printed anthology. This award-winning program was chosen by the National Endowment for the Arts as one of ten model summer arts programs in the nation. Call 208-331-8000 for more information.   • Drop-in Writing Workshop: The Cabin’s mission to inspire a love of writing comes alive with a free writing workshop held at The Cabin’s historic building next to the Boise Public Library. The workshop is offered on the first Monday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. If you can’t make it to The Cabin you can still enjoy the lessons and ideas that teaching-writer Adrian Kien provides. We post all his lesson plans on VirtualCabinIdaho.com.
