The Club for Growth, a well-funded DC group opposed to taxes and government spending, is giving Idaho Rep. Raul Labrador one of only three perfect scores in its rankings of how the tea party freshmen Republicans have acted so far.
The group said its rankings were based on an analysis of the voting records of the 87 freshmen Republicans in the U.S. House. The only three freshmen to get 100 percent scores were Labrador, Tim Huelskamp of Kansas and Justin Amash of Michigan.
The Club for Growth asserted that the for many other freshmen Republicans promises of trying to slash spending "came up empty."
