Thanks to promoter Knitting Factory, August just keeps heating up at the Idaho Botanical Garden. Alternative-rock band Jane’s Addiction — best known for its outstanding late '80s/early '90s albums “Nothing’s Shocking” and “Ritual de lo Habitual” — will perform Wednesday, Aug. 29, as part of the Garden’s Outlaw Field Concert Series.
The Garden also will welcome rock band Counting Crows for a Monday, Aug. 6, show. The Crows had hits in the '90s such as "Round Here" and "Mr. Jones."
Jane’s still brings it live. The Orange County Register wrote recently that “They seem as reinvigorated as vampires who just guzzled down the blood of a hundred virgins,” and that the band “smacked the crowd in its collective solar plexus with brute strength.”
Tickets to Jane's Addiction go on sale for $40 general admission at 10 a.m. May 18 at Ticketfly.
Tickets to Counting Crows cost $45 and also go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketfly.
