The Southwest Idaho Cycling Association just notified us that the 2012 Basic Bike Racing Skills Clinic, scheduled 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 10, in the west parking lot of Expo Idaho, 5610 Glenwood St., Garden City has been cancelled because of a high-winds forecast.
The clinic will be the same time and place May 17.
Cost is $10 and registration opens at 6 p.m. on the day of the clinic. This clinic is focused on teaching the basics of road bicycle racing. For details go to
