You don't have to be a surfer to appreciate this footage of surfers on monster waves that are finalist in the annual Billabong worldwide big wave contest. No matter how many times I see people riding giant waves, it still blows my mind. I've been absolutely trashed in head-high waves. These things are mountain tall and chaotic. Those who paddle in are among the bravest of the brave. Hail and tip of hat for your athletic skill and bravery.
