Former First Lady Patricia Kempthorne hosts reception for Dist. 16 candidate Paterson

Former First Lady Patricia Kempthorne, and other community members, including Mike and Kim Shirtcliff, Ed Lodge, John and Dawn Hatch, Mike Rose, and many others, host a public reception for Graham Paterson, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 8 at The Cazba, 211 N. 8th St.

All Ada County candidates are welcome to attend, and meet the public and one another.

Paterson, a Republican, ran the re-election campaign for former Boise Mayor Brent Coles. He is facing fellow Republican Fairy Hitchcock in the May 15 primary race for House Seat B in Dist. 16.

Here's a winning troika; a Republican named Fairy, a candidate with ties to a felon, and either way, a Republican candidate for Boise's District 16.

District 16 is pretty reliably "Blue" so let's hope it stays that way and Hy Kloc joins the legislature.
