Troy Rohn, a Democratic candidate for District 19A of the Idaho House of Representatives, announced Friday that he has received the endorsement of former Representative Margaret Henbest. Henbest, a nurse practitioner and expert on health issues, served in the Legislature for 12 years.
Rohn invites the public to meet him from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Dry Creek Mercantile store at Hidden Springs, 5892 W Hidden Springs Dr.
In an e-mail, Rohn, who is a biology professor and researcher at Boise State University, noted that he admired Henbest's nonpartisan style.
“I am honored to have the support from Margaret and if elected, I hope to model my own legislative style after hers," Rohn said.
